641 W Lake is a Creative Office building located in the West Loop submarket of Chicago, two blocks from the Ogilvie Train Station. R2 acquired the property in Fall 2016 and completed capital and cosmetic improvement projects, including a new lobby, renovated corridors & bathrooms, and significant mechanical upgrades. R2 also painted the building and installed an aggressive leasing and marketing campaign to stabilize the building.

In 2019, R2 recapitalized 641 West Lake alongside Heitman (NSDQ:HTMNX).
