Over a three-year period, R2 assembled two acres of property in three off-market transactions, across from Mackey Arena at Purdue University. It is the largest, privately owned assemblage that adjacent to a university with an enrollment of 40,000+ students.

In April 2012, R2 filed final plans for a 550 bed mixed-use development with 41,000 SF of retail, anchored by a grocery store and national credit pharmacy. R2 expects to receive development entitlements in the second half 2012 and immediately begin construction.
